Meet the Trendsetters

There are certain people in the entertainment industry who’s names ring bells. Some of those names are Karen Civil, DJ Mustard, and YMCMB’s photographer Derick G. Wanna meet them? Well tune in to All Def Digital’s new docuseries “Trendsetters.” The show premiered today on Youtube’s first community based platform. The show features a cast of movers and shakers. First up is YMCMB photographer Derick G. He’s photographed hip-hop heavy hitters Drake, Dj Khaled, and Lil Wayne. The Florida native got his shot after a chance meeting with Birdman. Next up is Founder and Creative Director of Primitive Shoes Andy Netkin. He’s a California native and skateboard veteran bringing his vision to life. Next, we catch up with newest Roc Nation signee DJ Mustard working on Nipsey Hussle’s newest project. DJ Mustard is known  for club anthems “Rack City”, “R.I.P.” and ” I’m Different” to name a few.  Las Vegas rapper Dizzy Wright  is profiled next  as he attends a meeting with Myspace. He’s signed to independent record label Funk Volume. Last but not least is social media maven Karen Civil. Civil has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Now she’s stepping in front of the camera with “Civil TV”. Episode 1 pretty much introduced us to tastemakers and followed them around in their day to day routine. I’m excited to see what’s next for the “Trendsetters.” Check out episode 1 and Dizzy Wright’s song “Kill’em wit Kindness.”
